Gardasil Magazine Ad -
This Gardasil Ad was a mailer I made in one of my graphics classes in college. I like this project, because for the first time, I took the knowledge I had learned as a student and went beyond that, finally starting to push the limits. Who said using a bunch of different typefaces is unappealing? Pish.
Business Card Design -
It seems like a lot of my freelance work consists of business / calling cards. These are a few examples of some of the work I have done.
Reverse The Tithe -
Reverse the Tithe was a project I worked on while at GSMG Services. This was a marketing campaign for our 90% off sale or (Reverse the Tithe.) These are a few of the branding looks I came up with.
Branded -
This is a good story. Ok, so it is a "B" with a circle around it. Big deal, right?
No this piece did not take me long. But I am particulary proud of it. The Ulrich Museum hosted a contest to "brand" their show featuring the "art of the logo." Margo Chase was the quest speaker and the head judge of the contest. I won first for my piece. "The B." I chose it because within it's simplicty, it also covered a broad range. I also grew up with a rancher for a father.. and therefore, when I hear branding, a cattle brand was the first thing that came to mind. Did I mention a Friends grad won a W.S.U. sponsored contest? Haha.
RangePost.com -
These are a couple logos I designed for my husband's side company, rangepost.com. Selling mostly outdoor sports equipment, they wanted something to reflect that.
Friendship Fields -
Friendship Fields is a new program "stemming" (I love a good pun) from Circle of Friends, a group out of the Sedgwick County Ark. I held an internship with them in college and now donate my work to there cause. I have a cousin with down syndrome who was more like a sister growing up so this organization is from dear to my heart.
Prepare 2 Last -
Prepare to Last was another project I did while at GSMG Services. The packaging on this product is not my design. I took that look and then built a site from the ground up. For this project I was in charge of wireframing, content and graphics. Needless to say, I was a busy gal.
Turf Trimmers -
Turf Trimmers is a landscaping business who needed a logo. Done.
Dok-It Ad -
Dok-it is a company based in San Antonio who specializes in collecting inventory, so in the case of a robbery, they have a nice organized list you can send to your insurance company. This was an ad, later made into a billboard. So if you are ever in Texas and see this billboard, please take a pic and send it to me.
Believer's Tabernacle -
Believers Tabernacle is a church here in town that wanted some re-branding. Unfortunately they did not pick either of these for their logo in the end, but these were my favorites.
Breathe Retreat -
Breathe, is a retreat hosted by the Campus Ministries Department at Friends University. I did the branding for them, including all T-shirt design.
Paris Layout -
A story layout. I did not write the copy. I did take the photos. I went to Paris. It is every bit as wonderful as everyone says.
Center Stage Talent -
Center Stage Talent is a talent scouting website based out of Branson. I did a few logos for them while working at GSMG Services.
Bake Sale -
A simple poster for an event at Friends University. I just think it is pretty.
Graham Martin Studios -
Graham Martin is a client I had while at GSMG Services. He is an architect turned artisan that specializes in working with copper to design custom light fixtures. Very cool. The second logo is actually the ancient alchemy symbol for copper.
Art Show -
Excuse Me, My Art Is Showing was an art show featuring Tarah Spencer, Grace Landgness and I. My friend Cj, (the guy flashing us) is wearing shorts, I promise. This is actually photshopped together so there was no chance for an accidental flashing. Cj and I are still very dear friends and this pose is a true testament to his everlasting good humor.
People, was Tarah, Grace and I's second show together. All three of us were painting majors at Friends University and had a such a great time showing together. Photo taken by Kerry Burrow.
Halloween night all the female painting majors at Friends University decided to throw together a show. This was our spooky marketing.
Circle of Friends -
While I worked for Circle of Friends I made some generic flyers that were used by teachers. They could then print these off on their own and fill them out to suit their needs.
The "I love my chicks" graphic was requested by Derby's Circle of Friends club to be used on some promotional T-shirts.
Baby Shower -
A few baby shower invites I have designed. The first is completely original. The other I was asked to do something similar to the graphics on some already purchased napkins. I did illustrate the artwork myself, however I did base it off of the original design work on the store bought napkins and plates.
Friends University -
These are a collection of many of the flyers and programs I did for different student organizations at Friends.
"You say goodbye, I say Hello," was the program cover for the Singing Quakers spring production. A psychedelic spin on Beatles hits, the stage backdrop included scenes of Europe including the Eiffel Tower. I hand drew this piece, scanned it in, and added color. It was a really fun, out of the ordinary project.
Student Ice skating night....free. Making random snowflake vectors... priceless.
Another promotional piece for the choir on campus.
